We are proud to announce that our Children's Castle I (Piney Green location) is the first child care facility in Onslow County to switch over to the new two component license. We are excited to have been given a "Four Star" rating!!!!
Folks it is time for our summer fun program to begin for ages 5-12 years. We have weekly field trips such as skating, and miniature golf!! We have special guests that come onsite to provide fun and educational time. Then each Friday the kids love it when the ice-cream truck arrives!! Our preschool graduation ceremony is as follows: Both centers will have graduation on Saturday June 2, 2007 which will be held at White Oak High School. Children's Castle is expanding again!!! Our new facility in Avery County will open in the late fall 2007 and we will be state licensed for up to 110 children.
We use vans and mini buses and each vehicle is equipped with cell phones for safety and emergencies. We can pick up your child and they can ride in comfort and safety in our mini buses.
Officer Friendly Program The Officer Friendly program consist of structured blocks of instruction presented to children from kindergarten through third grade. Visits are made to the children enrolled in the schools of the Onslow county school system a minimum of three visits per year. Also, any other group upon request. The program is very valuable in that it introduces youth to uniform police officers. This introduction allow the youth to see the police officer as their friend. There will be a presentation on "Stranger Danger" and the importance of seeking help from law enforcement and firemen when we need them and how to dial and use 911.Children's Castle is a participant with the Onslow County Smart Start Program. click on www.onslowkids.org for more information on Smart Start and how they impact children in Onslow county.
